Once again in Markham, Ontario, the SOTC members' and their Thunderbirds were the
"Featured Car Club" and "Featured Car" for the 2006 edition of the Olden Days and Antique
Cars Festival.  The streets of Markham Village were lined with all makes and models of
classic, antique and vintage vehicles, 1980 or older. "The festival was a great success with
over 300 cars on display", the Markham BIA announced. Our own Ford Thunderbirds
out-numbered all other makes and models.  The SOTC assembled over 30 cars for the
festival and we were warmly greeted by spectators, store owners and car enthusiasts alike.
Thanks to many volunteers and participants, this continues to be a successful festival and
will return in 2007 on September 9 from 10am to 4pm.  Circle the date on your calendar now.
